I don't believe that you two started something you couldn't commit to because it could've been what you wanted it to be but it wasn't. Now, you're making things up about how you knew that you didn't want to get into something. If you didn't want to, why would you assume the worst? Why would you care so much if you knew you couldn't commit? Don't be indenial, you hoped from the beginning it was something different, don't act like you didn't want it to turn into something more.
